- Lead cross-functional workshops to align organizational goals with future opportunities
- Author thought leadership reports and scenario-planning documents for executive stakeholders
- Identify and cultivate partnerships with startups, research institutions, and industry pioneers
- Design innovation roadmaps with 5-10 year horizons for product development
- Monitor geopolitical, economic, and social factors influencing future business environments
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Technology, Futures Studies, Business Strategy, or related field
- Minimum 7 years experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or tech research
- Proven track record of developing future-focused roadmaps and scenario planning
- Expertise in analyzing exponential technologies and their societal impacts
- Exceptional data visualization and presentation skills for executive audiences
- Strong network within tech innovation ecosystems (Silicon Valley, Austin, etc.)
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight preferred
- Fluency in trend analysis tools (e.g., Gartner, Forrester, TrendWatching)
