Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop data-driven scenario models for climate adaptation, AI governance, and bio-convergence trends
- Partner with C-suite executives to integrate future-proofing strategies into corporate roadmaps
- Author seminal white papers and keynote presentations at global innovation forums
- Manage a $5M innovation portfolio funding moonshot projects targeting 2026 breakthroughs
- Mentor junior futurists while building external thought leadership through published research
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging technology analysis
- Proven track record of publishing trend reports with industry-wide impact
- Expertise in quantitative/qualitative foresight methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling skills translating complex scenarios into actionable strategies
- Portfolio demonstrating 2026+ trend predictions with documented market validation
