Responsibilities
- Identify and analyze emerging technological, social, and economic trends through 2026 horizon scanning
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for future market disruptions
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-generation solutions
- Present futuristic insights to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Collaborate with R&D to integrate foresight into product roadmaps
- Author annual 'Future State' reports for investor and public audiences
- Mentor junior futurists through our Innovation Fellowship Program
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Published thought leadership on technological disruption (peer-reviewed articles, patents, or books)
- Proficiency in horizon scanning methodologies and trend analysis tools
- Experience with scenario planning frameworks (e.g., STEEP-V, causal layered analysis)
- Demonstrated ability to translate abstract concepts into executable business strategies
- Portfolio of past futurist projects with measurable impact metrics
