Responsibilities
- Anticipate and analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI) and their market impacts through 2030
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for board-level decision-making
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype 2026-era solutions
- Partner with R&D to de-risk long-term technology investments
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote industry conferences
- Mentor emerging futurists through our Horizon Fellowship program
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or advanced R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial strategy
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neurotech, climate engineering, or space commercialization
- Published author in futurist journals (e.g., Future Studies Review)
- MSc/PhD in Physics, Engineering, or Futures Studies preferred
- Proficient in scenario planning tools (e.g., STEEP-V, Delphi method)
- Exceptional storytelling skills for complex technical concepts
