Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive 2026 technology foresight framework using predictive analytics and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify and prioritize emerging opportunities in quantum computing, biotech convergence, and AI ethics
- Author quarterly strategic briefings for executive leadership on macroeconomic shifts and disruptive innovations
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-forward solutions aligned with 2026 market projections
- Establish KPIs and success metrics for long-term innovation initiatives with 5-year horizons
- Represent the organization at global futurism conferences and industry thought leadership forums
- Mentor junior strategists in future-proof methodologies and trend analysis techniques
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Innovation, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in strategic planning or innovation leadership with demonstrable impact on long-term roadmaps
- Expertise in horizon scanning, Delphi methodology, and trend impact analysis
- Published thought leadership on technological disruption (white papers, journals, keynotes)
- Proficiency in foresight tools like Gartner Hype Cycle, STEEP analysis, and scenario modeling software
- Experience with quantum computing, AGI governance, or synthetic biology ecosystems
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or foresight academy)
- Portfolio of 3+ successful innovation initiatives with 5+ year implementation cycles
