Responsibilities
- Develop 5-10 year strategic foresight frameworks for Fortune 500 clients using scenario modeling and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional workshops on exponential technologies' societal and economic impacts
- Produce high-impact deliverables: Horizon Scanning Reports, Technology Roadmaps, and Crisis Simulations
- Establish and maintain relationships with academic institutions, government agencies, and deep-tech startups
- Drive innovation through Horizon Dynamics' proprietary FutureStack methodology
- Represent the company at global foresight forums (e.g., Davos, World Economic Summit)
- Mentor junior futurists while maintaining thought leadership through white papers and keynotes
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or advanced R&D with Fortune 500 exposure
- Expertise in at least three exponential technologies: AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neurotech
- Proven ability to translate complex systems into executable business strategies
- Published thought leader with 20+ industry publications or patents
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent technical field
- Fluency in futures research methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning, Cross-Impact Matrices)
- Experience with scenario planning tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis, STEEP-V)
- Exceptional communication skills for executive-level audiences across technical and non-technical domains
