Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a 5-year strategic foresight framework for quantum-AI convergence, biotech augmentation, and decentralized infrastructure
- Lead scenario-planning workshops with C-suite executives to stress-test business models against 2026 technological disruptions
- Produce quarterly 'Horizon Scan' reports identifying high-impact emerging technologies (e.g., neuromorphic chips, synthetic biology)
- Establish strategic partnerships with NASA, MIT Media Lab, and global innovation accelerators
- Translate foresight insights into R&D priorities and product development roadmaps
- Represent the company at Davos, Web Summit, and specialized futurist conferences
- Mentor a team of technology trend analysts and innovation scouts
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or equivalent with 8+ years in strategic foresight
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (quantum/AI/biotech preferred)
- Deep expertise in exponential technology forecasting and scenario modeling
- Published thought leadership in journals like 'Futures' or 'Technological Forecasting'
- Experience securing $10M+ innovation grants from NSF, DARPA, or equivalent bodies
- Fluency in at least two of: Python, R, or MATLAB for data-driven trend analysis
