- Develop multi-year strategic roadmaps aligned with organizational vision and technological convergence
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for board-level stakeholders on disruptive futures
- Establish KPI frameworks for measuring innovation maturity and future-readiness
- Partner with R&D to prototype next-gen solutions with 5+ year commercialization horizons
- Author thought leadership publications on emerging paradigms and their societal implications
- Mentor cross-functional teams in futures-thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or equivalent strategic discipline
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futures research
- Proven track record of translating foresight into executable business strategies
- Expertise in horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario modeling
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (blockchain, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills for articulating complex future states
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from foresight academy) preferred
- Portfolio of published futurism work or successful strategic implementations
