Responsibilities
- Lead strategic foresight initiatives to identify and validate emerging technologies with 2026 commercial viability
- Architect innovation roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Partner with product teams to translate future trends into actionable development priorities
- Present future scenarios to executive stakeholders and influence multi-year investment decisions
- Establish cross-functional innovation labs to prototype 2026-relevant solutions
- Author thought leadership publications on technological disruption and future-proofing strategies
- Monitor geopolitical, regulatory, and societal shifts impacting tech adoption horizons
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, technology consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in forecasting market trends for 5+ year horizons
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Executive-level presentation skills with ability to articulate complex future scenarios
- Published thought leadership in technology futurism or innovation strategy
- MSc/PhD in Technology, Innovation Management, or related field preferred
- Certification in Futures Studies or Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFCS, CFS) strongly preferred
- Experience with scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
