Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026+ technology roadmaps aligned with market forecasts and business objectives
- Identify and analyze emerging technologies with 5-10 year potential impact
- Lead cross-functional workshops to integrate futuristic concepts into product development
- Establish strategic partnerships with research institutions and innovation labs
- Present foresight insights to executive leadership and board stakeholders
- Monitor geopolitical, economic, and environmental shifts affecting long-term strategy
- Author annual 'Future State' reports for internal and external audiences
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futuristics, Technology Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, R&D leadership, or innovation consulting
- Proven track record of developing multi-year technology roadmaps
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts
- Experience working with C-suite executives in Fortune 500 environments
