Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026 strategic foresight framework using horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional innovation pods to prototype future-facing solutions in AI, quantum computing, and biotech
- Present future scenarios to executive leadership and board members with data-driven recommendations
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and research labs to pioneer emerging technologies
- Create annual 'State of 2026' reports for stakeholders and industry thought leadership
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal foresight capability within the organization
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or future-focused consulting
- Proven track record developing multi-year strategic roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI/ML, quantum, blockchain, synthetic biology)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field required
- Exceptional presentation skills with experience to C-suite audiences
- Published thought leadership on future trends or technological disruption
- Experience with foresight methodologies (Delphi, STEEP, cross-impact analysis)
