Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic foresight frameworks for 2026+ market landscapes
- Lead cross-disciplinary research initiatives in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Produce visionary whitepapers and trend reports for executive stakeholders
- Design innovation pipelines translating futuristic concepts into commercial opportunities
- Partner with product teams to integrate long-term vision into product roadmaps
- Represent company at global futurist conferences and thought leadership forums
- Mentor junior futurists and build a high-impact future strategy team
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging technology roles
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-focused strategies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, climate tech, neurotechnology, or space commercialization
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario planning capabilities
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology journals
- Experience advising Fortune 500 executives on long-term transformation
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight preferred
