Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the 2026 Innovation Vision Roadmap, identifying disruptive opportunities across 15+ emerging technology domains
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' to prototype and validate breakthrough concepts with C-suite stakeholders
- Establish strategic partnerships with quantum computing, neurotech, and climate-tech pioneers
- Author quarterly Horizon Reports forecasting market shifts and regulatory impacts
- Design and execute innovation sprints focused on 2026-readiness for product development teams
- Represent Nexus at global futurist summits and shape industry discourse on emerging paradigms
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal culture of exponential thinking
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, futurism, or emerging technology leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing futuristic concepts (portfolio required)
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling skills to communicate complex futures to diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurist or innovation publications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field
- Experience scaling innovation frameworks in enterprise environments
