Responsibilities
- Forecast emerging technologies and societal shifts through quantitative modeling and qualitative research
- Develop strategic roadmaps for 2026+ product ecosystems and market entry strategies
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate future-facing concepts
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, government bodies, and industry disruptors
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and external investors
- Curate thought leadership content including whitepapers, keynote speeches, and trend reports
- Monitor geopolitical, climate, and regulatory factors impacting long-term innovation
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic planning, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging domains: AI ethics, quantum computing, or climate tech
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercialized innovations
- Exceptional data visualization and scenario planning capabilities
- Global network of innovators and thought leaders in tech and policy spheres
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from Association of Professional Futurists)
- Prior experience in venture capital or corporate innovation lab environments
