Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal shifts to predict 2026+ market landscapes
- Develop scenario-based strategic roadmaps for Fortune 500 clients across healthcare, energy, and consumer sectors
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints prototyping future-facing products and services
- Deliver executive briefings and trend reports to C-suite stakeholders in Fortune 500 companies
- Curate and maintain Horizon's proprietary Future Intelligence Database with 500+ predictive indicators
- Collaborate with MIT Media Lab and Singularity University on horizon-scanning research initiatives
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Published thought leadership on exponential technologies or societal transformation
- Proficiency in horizon scanning methodologies (Delphi, STEEP analysis, scenario planning)
- Experience with AI-driven trend analysis tools (GPT-4, Trend Hunter, Futures Platform)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-vision implementations
- Ability to synthesize complex data into compelling executive narratives
