Responsibilities
- Anticipate global tech trends through horizon scanning and predictive analytics to inform 5-year strategic roadmaps
- Architect and incubate moonshot projects in AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Develop scenario-based models for market disruptions and competitive threats
- Present future-vision briefings to executive stakeholders and board members
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Mentor next-generation futurists through internal knowledge-sharing programs
Qualifications
- PhD or Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or related field
- 12+ years experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Portfolio of successfully implemented future-oriented initiatives
- Expertise in emerging technologies: generative AI, Web3, AGI, and synthetic biology
- Proficiency in scenario planning tools (e.g., SAMI, Forio)
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy
- Exceptional storytelling skills for communicating complex futures
