Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026 Innovation Roadmap, identifying emerging technologies and market disruptors
- Lead scenario planning workshops for C-suite executives on future business models and industry transformations
- Partner with R&D to prototype and validate futuristic concepts in our Innovation Labs
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers to accelerate next-gen research
- Present quarterly foresight reports to the board with actionable recommendations for 5-10 year planning
- Mentor internal teams on future-thinking methodologies and trend analysis frameworks
- Organize the annual 'Horizon 2026' summit to showcase emerging innovations to industry leaders
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategy consulting, product innovation, or futurist research
- Proven track record of anticipating and documenting market shifts (portfolio required)
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neurotech
- Certification in Futures Studies or equivalent foresight methodology
- Exceptional storytelling ability to communicate complex future scenarios to diverse audiences
- Experience with trend analysis tools (e.g., Gartner Hype Cycle, Delphi Method)
- Published thought leadership in future-focused publications or journals
- PhD or Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field
