Responsibilities
- Architect 10-year innovation roadmaps for quantum computing, AI ethics, and biotechnology convergence
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing prototyping frameworks for 2026-era technologies
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify disruptive market opportunities
- Present future-vision briefings to C-suite executives and board members
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget with measurable ROI on experimental projects
- Mentor junior futurists and cultivate an organization-wide culture of anticipatory thinking
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of launching market-defining products with 5+ year development cycles
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, synthetic biology, AGI, etc.)
- Experience with scenario planning and strategic foresight methodologies
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- Advanced degree in relevant field (PhD preferred) or equivalent industry impact

- Portfolio demonstrating successful long-term technology commercialization
