Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 technology roadmaps for quantum AI, biometric interfaces, and climate resilience systems
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with MIT Media Lab partners and DARPA contractors
- Architect scalable frameworks for ethical AI governance and human-centric automation
- Present strategic foresight briefings to C-suite executives and government innovation councils
- Manage $5M+ annual R&D budget for experimental technology incubation
- Pioneer patent applications in neural-network optimization and quantum-resistant cryptography
- Mentor PhD researchers in emerging fields while publishing in Nature Futures
Qualifications
- PhD in Computational Physics, Systems Engineering, or Futurist Studies (or equivalent experience)
- 15+ years in technology R&D with 5+ years in strategic foresight roles
- Proven track record deploying quantum computing solutions in production environments
- Deep expertise in exponential technology trends (AI, biotech, nanotech, climate tech)
- Published author in peer-reviewed futures studies journals
- Experience securing federal innovation grants (NSF, DOE, DoD)
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum simulation frameworks
- Fluency in Mandarin and Spanish for global stakeholder engagement
