Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a 2026 technology roadmap for AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype next-gen human-machine interfaces
- Conduct horizon-scanning research on emerging technologies with 3-5 year market impact
- Partner with C-suite to align future strategies with investor and stakeholder expectations
- Build and mentor a team of futurists, prototyping engineers, and market analysts
- Present future scenarios at global innovation forums and industry summits
- Secure patents and IP portfolios for breakthrough innovations targeting 2026 commercialization
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or Futures Studies
- Deep expertise in technology forecasting methodologies and scenario planning
- Portfolio of published future trend analyses or innovation frameworks
- Experience leading teams across multiple technical disciplines
- Strong network within DARPA, IEEE, or similar innovation ecosystems
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Innovation Management preferred
