Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 innovation roadmap, identifying emerging technologies with transformative potential
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in quantum AI, neuro-interfaces, and climate-positive technologies
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and industry disruptors
- Present visionary blueprints to C-suite executives and board members
- Drive patent development and IP protection for breakthrough innovations
- Mentor a team of future-focused researchers and prototype engineers
- Analyze global tech trends to maintain competitive advantage in emerging markets
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurist Studies (or equivalent experience)
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech innovation
- Proven track record of launching disruptive technologies (quantum/AI projects preferred)
- Deep expertise in exponential technology forecasting methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurist or innovation journals
- Experience securing $10M+ R&D budgets and managing P&L for innovation units
- Proficiency in futures research tools (scenario planning, Delphi methods)
