Responsibilities
- Lead strategic R&D initiatives targeting 2026 technology adoption curves
- Develop patentable solutions in quantum computing, synthetic biology, and decentralized AI
- Coordinate with venture partners to secure $50M+ in future-focused investments
- Build predictive market models using proprietary data streams from 50+ industry sensors
- Mentor a team of 12 futurists and engineers in emerging tech commercialization
- Present quarterly innovation roadmaps to C-suite and board of directors
- Establish ethical frameworks for next-gen AI and biotechnology deployment
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech R&D with 5+ years in strategic foresight roles
- Proven track record launching products with 3+ year development cycles
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Bioengineering, or Futurism
- Published research in IEEE Nature or equivalent tier-1 journals
- Expertise in predictive modeling, scenario planning, and technology roadmapping
- Portfolio of 3+ commercialized innovations with >$100M market impact
- Fluency in at least one quantum programming language (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of regulatory landscapes for AI and biotech (2026 horizon)
