Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing 2026+ innovation roadmaps for emerging technologies
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive opportunities
- Design and execute pilot programs for futuristic technologies (quantum computing, neurotech, etc.)
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and external partners
- Establish KPIs and frameworks for measuring long-term innovation impact
- Collaborate with R&D to prototype next-generation solutions
- Author thought leadership publications on 2026 industry transformations
Qualifications
- 10+ years in innovation strategy, futurism, or emerging tech leadership
- Proven track record of scaling futuristic concepts into commercial products
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills for executive and technical audiences
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Engineering, or Business preferred
- Experience with agile methodologies for long-term innovation projects
- Portfolio of published futurist work or executed innovation initiatives
