Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify emerging technologies and societal trends impacting 2026+ business landscapes
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks and scenario-planning models for Fortune 500 clients
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future insights into actionable roadmaps
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at industry forums
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-state solutions and validate market readiness
- Analyze geopolitical and regulatory shifts affecting long-term technology adoption
- Maintain competitive intelligence database of global innovation ecosystems
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend mapping methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional presentation skills with experience to executive audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating published future-state analyses or strategic frameworks
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CFS, APF) strongly preferred
- Experience with Delphi methodology and expert elicitation processes
