Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps for emerging domains (quantum, biotech, AR/VR)
- Lead scenario-planning workshops to identify disruptive threats and opportunities through 2030
- Partner with C-suite executives to align tech investments with long-term business vision
- Analyze patent landscapes and academic breakthroughs to identify strategic acquisition targets
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, researchers, and venture capitalists
- Present strategic recommendations to investors and board members with data-driven narratives
- Mentor innovation teams in rapid prototyping of next-gen technologies
Qualifications
- PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics with 8+ years tech strategy experience
- Proven track record in launching at least two breakthrough technologies from concept to market
- Deep expertise in emerging tech trends (quantum computing, synthetic biology, spatial computing)
- Certification in Futures Methodology (e.g., CFP, Foresight Practitioner)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with experience presenting to C-level executives and investors
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
- Fluency in at least two programming languages (Python, R preferred)
- Experience securing $10M+ in R&D funding or strategic partnerships
