Responsibilities
- Architect and execute technology roadmaps targeting 2026 market readiness
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing AI/ML, quantum computing, and biotech integration solutions
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with 3-5 year commercialization potential
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and industry pioneers
- Present technology forecasts and innovation strategies to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Manage R&D budget allocation for next-generation technology incubation
- Champion ethical innovation frameworks for responsible technological advancement
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology leadership with proven experience in emerging tech domains
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, generative AI, neuromorphic systems, or synthetic biology
- Track record of commercializing futuristic technologies (3+ successful product launches)
- Exceptional strategic planning and scenario modeling capabilities
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- Experience managing distributed R&D teams across multiple continents
- Fluency in future technology forecasting methodologies (e.g., Delphi, horizon scanning)
