Responsibilities
- Develop 2026-2030 technology roadmaps integrating quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, and decentralized AI
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen sustainability tech (carbon-negative AI, energy-efficient data centers)
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging threats/opportunities in quantum security and autonomous systems
- Design ethical frameworks for AI deployment in regulated industries (healthcare, finance, defense)
- Secure $50M+ in R&D funding through DARPA/BAR grant proposals and private partnerships
- Mentor a team of 15+ engineers and researchers in emerging tech specializations
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, AI Systems, or related field (or equivalent industry disruption)
- 10+ years experience architecting scalable tech stacks with 5+ years in future-tech strategy
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum applications or ethical AI (3+ papers)
- Proven success securing $10M+ in government/venture funding for emerging tech
- Expertise in ISO 42001 (AI management) and NIST quantum security frameworks
- Deep knowledge of climate tech regulations (SEC climate disclosures, EU AI Act)
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq)
