Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a 2026 technology roadmap aligning with global sustainability goals and market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in AI-driven automation, quantum computing applications, and carbon-neutral tech systems
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators focused on 2026-era innovations
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies with 3-5 year commercialization potential
- Drive innovation sprints to prototype and validate next-gen solutions for healthcare, energy, and urban mobility sectors
- Present strategic technology forecasts and implementation frameworks to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Champion ethical AI frameworks and responsible innovation governance protocols
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or innovation management with proven 2020s-era disruption track record
- Expertise in at least two emerging domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, decentralized AI, or climate-tech
- Published thought leadership in technology forecasting or future studies (IEEE, Nature Futures, etc.)
- Experience scaling innovation from concept to commercial deployment in regulated industries
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Futures Studies, or related field
- Fluency in technology roadmapping frameworks (e.g., Gartner Hype Cycle, TechScape) and scenario planning
- Proficiency in ethical AI governance frameworks and responsible innovation principles
