Job Description
We are seeking a visionary Future Systems Architect to lead the design of our infrastructure for the 2026 era. This is a high-impact role where you will define the technical backbone for next-generation AI and quantum computing applications. You will not just write code; you will architect the systems that will define how humanity interacts with technology in the coming years.
At Nexus Horizon, we are building the tools for tomorrow. We need a leader who can bridge the gap between theoretical research and scalable production environments, ensuring our platforms are resilient, ethical, and future-proof.
Responsibilities
- Architect Future-Proof Systems: Design and oversee the implementation of scalable backend architectures capable of handling advanced AI workloads and quantum data processing.
- Define the 2026 Roadmap: Translate strategic business goals into technical roadmaps, identifying emerging technologies (e.g., Neural Interfaces, Edge Computing) to integrate into our core product suite.
- Ensure Ethical AI Standards: Establish and enforce rigorous guidelines for responsible AI development, ensuring fairness, transparency, and accountability in all system outputs.
- Drive Innovation: Lead research initiatives and proof-of-concept projects to validate new technologies before full-scale deployment.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with product managers, security experts, and data scientists to translate complex requirements into robust technical solutions.
Qualifications
- Advanced Education: Masterβs or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical field.
- Extensive Experience: 8+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a senior architect or lead role.
- Tech Stack Mastery: Deep proficiency in Python, Go, or Rust, with a strong understanding of distributed systems and cloud-native architectures (AWS/GCP).
- Future Tech Knowledge: Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), neural interfaces, or next-gen database technologies.
- Strategic Vision: Proven ability to anticipate industry trends and translate them into actionable technical strategies.
