Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies, regulatory shifts, and behavioral patterns impacting 2026
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for 5+ emerging industries including quantum computing, neurotech, and climate resilience
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to align organizational strategy with future market realities
- Produce annual 'Future State' reports synthesifying global trend data into strategic imperatives
- Build and manage a cross-functional Future Innovation Task Force
- Represent company at global foresight forums and industry 4.0 summits
- Design and lead immersive foresight workshops for stakeholders
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futures research with Fortune 500 exposure
- Expertise in trend analysis frameworks (e.g., STEEP, Delphi method) and scenario planning
- Proven track record translating foresight into commercial outcomes
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Management, or related field
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (AI, biotech, Web3) and their societal implications
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight preferred
- Exceptional storytelling skills to communicate complex futures narratives
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Flourish) for trend mapping
