Responsibilities
- Architect the 2026 AI strategic vision aligning with UN Sustainable Development Goals and emerging regulatory frameworks
- Lead cross-functional teams of researchers, engineers, and ethicists to develop prototype systems for next-gen applications
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions (MIT, Stanford) and government agencies (DARPA, NSF) for joint innovation initiatives
- Present strategic roadmaps to C-suite executives and board members, securing $50M+ annual R&D budgets
- Establish governance frameworks for responsible AI deployment, ensuring compliance with evolving international standards
- Identify and prioritize emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic chips) for strategic integration
Qualifications
- 15+ years experience in AI/ML strategy with 5+ years in executive leadership at Fortune 500 or unicorn startups
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Cognitive Science, or related field with published research in Nature/Science
- Proven track record of scaling AI initiatives from concept to $100M+ revenue products
- Expertise in ethical AI frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST RMF) and policy advocacy experience
- Deep technical knowledge across neural architectures, federated learning, and explainable AI systems
- Fluency in strategic foresight methodologies (horizon scanning, scenario planning) with demonstrated impact on industry roadmaps
