Responsibilities
- Forecast and map AI technology trajectories through 2026, including AGI, quantum computing integration, and biotech-AI convergence
- Develop strategic roadmaps for ethical AI deployment in regulated industries (healthcare, finance, defense)
- Lead scenario planning for global tech disruption events and geopolitical impacts on AI development
- Partner with C-suite executives to align futuristic technology initiatives with business growth objectives
- Author thought leadership publications and represent Nexus Horizon at global tech summits
- Mentor a team of futurists and AI researchers in horizon scanning methodologies
- Establish industry-wide standards for responsible AI governance in 2026-era applications
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in AI/Computer Science, Cognitive Science, or Future Studies with 10+ years experience
- Proven track record of forecasting technology trends with 85%+ accuracy (provide case studies)
- Expertise in quantum-resistant algorithms, neuromorphic computing, and distributed AI systems
- Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks (EU AI Act, US AI Bill of Rights) and ethical AI frameworks
- Exceptional systems thinking with ability to model complex technological ecosystems
