Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move products to the appropriate storage areas.
- Inventory Management: Conduct accurate cycle counts and inventory checks to maintain stock accuracy and ensure proper organization.
- Picking & Packing: Retrieve orders from the warehouse floor, verify item details, and package them securely for shipment.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure all shipping labels are applied correctly.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine safety checks on warehouse equipment and report any maintenance needs immediately.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free environment.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not required for immediate consideration.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday & Sunday) for full-time hours.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in data entry and inventory tracking.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and shift supervisors.
