Responsibilities
- Fleet Operations: Safely load and unload freight trucks, ensuring cargo security and proper handling.
- Inventory Management: Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to accurately scan, sort, and track inventory stock levels.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damages and discrepancies, reporting issues immediately.
- Facility Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with shift supervisors and colleagues to meet daily productivity targets.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a regular basis.
- Skills: Basic computer skills and familiarity with barcode scanners or handheld devices is a plus.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not required for immediate hires.
