Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot & Resolve: Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity issues for internal staff remotely and on-site.
- Helpdesk Management: Prioritize and manage a high volume of IT tickets submitted over the weekend to ensure 100% resolution rates.
- System Maintenance: Perform scheduled system updates, backups, and security patches during low-traffic hours to minimize disruption.
- Access Control: Manage user accounts, permissions, and security protocols for weekend staff access to ensure data integrity.
- Incident Response: Respond to and escalate critical system alerts immediately to the on-call engineering team.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of technical issues, resolutions, and system changes in our ticketing system.
Qualifications
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or a related technical field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in troubleshooting Windows, macOS, and mobile operating systems; strong knowledge of Active Directory and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Flexibility: Must be available to work Saturdays and Sundays (or Fridays to Sundays) on a recurring basis.
- Self-Starter: Proven ability to work independently, prioritize tasks efficiently, and manage time effectively without direct supervision.
- Certifications: CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar certifications are a plus.
