Responsibilities
- Monitor server health and perform routine maintenance to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Resolve complex technical tickets and troubleshoot network issues for internal staff.
- Execute software updates, patches, and security patches during off-peak hours.
- Conduct daily backups and verify data integrity across all systems.
- Collaborate with the Weekday Team Lead to prioritize critical IT initiatives.
- Document all maintenance activities and create technical knowledge base articles.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a technical support or systems administration role.
- Proficiency in Windows Server, Linux, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure).
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during weekend shifts.
