Responsibilities
- Lead weekend operations team of 12+ personnel across warehouse and distribution functions
- Oversee real-time inventory management and order fulfillment for high-value tech shipments
- Coordinate cross-functional weekend logistics with 24/7 transportation partners
- Implement process improvements using Lean Six Sigma methodologies
- Ensure OSHA compliance and safety protocols for weekend shift activities
- Generate weekend performance reports and operational analytics
- Act as primary weekend liaison for emergency escalations and client communications
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field
- 3+ years experience managing weekend or overnight operations in logistics
- Proven expertise with WMS/TMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or Manhattan Active preferred)
- Strong leadership background in unionized or high-volume environments
- OSHA 30 certification and Hazmat handling familiarity
- Advanced Excel and data visualization skills (Power BI/Tableau)
- Ability to work independently during non-standard hours with minimal supervision
