Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 technical support for hardware and software issues via remote channels and on-site visits.
- Monitor server and network performance during off-peak hours to ensure maximum uptime.
- Log and track all support tickets in our CRM system with high accuracy.
- Perform routine system updates and security patches on weekend schedules.
- Assist in the deployment of new hardware for incoming projects.
- Collaborate with the day-shift team to resolve complex escalations.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in IT support or technical help desk roles.
- Ability to work flexible weekend shifts (Fri-Sun or Sat-Sun) from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for Windows, macOS, and Linux environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Reliable transportation for occasional on-site San Jose visits.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree preferred.
- Must be comfortable working independently in a night-time setting.
