Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain the health and performance of critical IT infrastructure and servers during weekend shifts.
- Resolve complex technical tickets and escalated user support requests with minimal supervision.
- Perform routine system updates, patch management, and security audits to ensure system resilience.
- Collaborate with the on-site engineering team to ensure seamless handovers of ongoing technical issues.
- Assist in the deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting of hardware and software solutions.
- Document all technical interventions, incidents, and resolutions in the ticketing system.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in IT support, systems administration, or help desk roles.
- Strong working knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and networking fundamentals.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a rotating schedule.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a focus on customer service.
