Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support for hardware, software, and network issues via phone and remote access.
- Perform routine system maintenance, patch management, and security updates during off-hours.
- Assist in the setup and configuration of new devices and workstations for weekend staff.
- Monitor system performance and respond to critical alerts immediately to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all incidents, resolutions, and hardware inventory.
- Collaborate with the on-call team to escalate complex issues that require weekday intervention.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or a related technical field.
- Familiarity with Windows and macOS operating systems.
- Strong understanding of hardware components, printers, and network connectivity.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree or IT certification (CompTIA A+) is a plus.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during weekend shifts.
