Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain the health of local and network infrastructure systems to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Resolve escalated technical tickets and user issues with minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
- Perform scheduled maintenance, patching, and security updates on weekends.
- Conduct hardware and software troubleshooting for onsite staff and remote users.
- Document all technical issues, resolutions, and system changes in the ticketing system.
- Collaborate with the week-day support team to ensure seamless knowledge transfer and handovers.
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
- CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+ certification is a strong plus.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or technical support roles.
- Strong knowledge of Windows, Linux, and basic networking protocols (TCP/IP).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues independently.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
