Responsibilities
- Execute Weekend Deployments: Manage and execute software deployments, code releases, and database migrations during off-hours to minimize disruption to daily operations.
- System Maintenance: Perform routine system checks, log analysis, and server maintenance to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
- Code Reviews: Conduct thorough code reviews for team members to ensure high-quality standards and adherence to best practices.
- Bug Fixing: Identify, triage, and resolve critical bugs and technical issues reported during the weekend shift.
- Documentation: Update technical documentation and runbooks to reflect recent changes and maintenance activities.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the QA and Product teams to ensure seamless integration of new features.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in software engineering or a related field.
- Programming Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript, Python, or Java is required.
- Schedule Availability: Must be available to work weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday) on a recurring basis.
- Technical Tools: Strong knowledge of SQL, Git, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for documenting technical processes.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues independently.
