Job Description
We are building the nervous system of the digital age. Nexus Horizon is seeking a visionary Senior Neural Interface Engineer to lead the development of non-invasive Brain-Computer Interfaces (BCIs) that seamlessly merge biological cognition with synthetic intelligence.
In this pivotal 2026 role, you won't just write code; you will architect the pathways through which humans perceive and interact with the metaverse. You will work at the bleeding edge of neuroplasticity algorithms and ultra-low-latency signal processing.
Why Join Us?
- Shape the future of human-computer interaction.
- Work with cutting-edge hardware and proprietary AI models.
- Competitive equity package and healthcare coverage.
Responsibilities
- Architect Neural Pathways: Design and implement real-time neural decoding algorithms capable of processing low-bandwidth signals with sub-millisecond latency.
- Hardware Integration: Optimize signal-to-noise ratios for consumer-grade BCI hardware and develop middleware that bridges biological signals to digital APIs.
- Cognitive Modeling: Collaborate with neuroscientists to model synaptic plasticity and adapt learning algorithms based on user feedback loops.
- Ethical Compliance: Establish and enforce rigorous data privacy and security protocols to protect sensitive neural data.
- Prototyping: Lead the rapid prototyping of next-generation non-invasive sensors and transceivers.
Qualifications
- Education: PhD in Computational Neuroscience, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is highly preferred.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in embedded systems, signal processing, or machine learning engineering.
- Technical Stack: Proficiency in Python, C++, and Rust; experience with TensorFlow or PyTorch for signal analysis.
- Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of neuroanatomy and signal processing techniques (e.g., FFT, wavelet transforms).
- Soft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to cross-functional teams.
