Responsibilities
- Orchestrate Weekend Operations: Plan and manage complex IT maintenance windows and deployments that occur on Saturdays and Sundays, ensuring zero downtime for critical systems.
- Lead Cross-Functional Teams: Direct agile squads of developers, engineers, and QA specialists during weekend sprints to accelerate product delivery.
- Risk Management: Identify potential bottlenecks and operational risks during off-hours shifts and implement proactive mitigation strategies.
- Stakeholder Communication: Provide real-time status updates to senior leadership and clients, ensuring transparency regarding project milestones and deliverables.
- Resource Allocation: Optimize team workload and resource distribution to ensure maximum productivity during weekend shifts.
- Quality Assurance: Validate all completed tasks and deliverables to meet Apex's rigorous quality standards before systems go live.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of IT Project Management experience, specifically within a software development or enterprise IT environment.
- Availability: Proven ability to work flexible schedules, including mandatory weekend shifts and occasional after-hours on-call support.
- Certification: PMP, PgMP, or Prince2 certification is highly preferred.
- Methodology: Deep expertise in Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Tools: Proficient in Jira, Confluence, MS Project, and other project management tools.
