Responsibilities
- Lead weekend maintenance windows and execute critical infrastructure updates for on-premise and cloud environments.
- Design, implement, and automate CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI) to reduce deployment friction.
- Monitor system health using Prometheus and Grafana; proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with the development team to refactor legacy code for better scalability.
- Conduct security audits and implement best practices for compliance (SOC2, HIPAA).
- Manage configuration management tools like Ansible and Chef.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or System Administration.
- Strong proficiency in AWS (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation).
- Excellent scripting skills in Python or Bash.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
