Job Description
We are seeking a visionary Senior AI Architect to spearhead the development of our proprietary algorithms for the 2026 Horizon Initiative. Nexus Future Labs is at the forefront of next-generation artificial intelligence, and we need a technical leader who can translate complex research into scalable, real-world solutions. You will work closely with a cross-functional team of data scientists, engineers, and product managers to define the technical roadmap for our flagship products.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing the underlying architecture of our neural networks, optimizing model performance for edge devices, and ensuring robust security protocols are in place.
Responsibilities
- Architectural Leadership: Design and oversee the implementation of scalable AI infrastructure and machine learning pipelines for the 2026 Horizon Initiative.
- Model Optimization: Research and deploy advanced optimization techniques to enhance model accuracy, latency, and resource efficiency.
- Technical Strategy: Define the long-term technical vision, evaluating emerging technologies like neuromorphic computing and quantum AI.
- Team Mentorship: Mentor junior engineers and data scientists, conducting code reviews and fostering a culture of innovation.
- Collaboration: Partner with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliver high-impact solutions.
- R&D: Stay ahead of industry trends and contribute to internal patent filings and white papers.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, or a related technical field.
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in software engineering and machine learning, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead architectural role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and distributed computing frameworks (e.g., Kubernetes, Apache Spark).
- Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of deep learning architectures, natural language processing (NLP), or computer vision.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment.
