Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of next-generation deep learning models, specifically targeting transformer architectures and reinforcement learning.
- Oversee the full machine learning lifecycle, from data curation and feature engineering to model training, validation, and productionization.
- Mentor junior engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation within the team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional product teams to translate complex research findings into robust, user-centric software solutions.
- Publish high-impact research papers in top-tier AI conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR).
- Identify emerging technologies and methodologies that can be leveraged to gain a competitive advantage.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field with a focus on Machine Learning/AI.
- 10+ years of professional experience in AI/ML engineering, with at least 3 years in a lead or principal role.
- Expert proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and CUDA.
- Deep understanding of NLP, Computer Vision, or Generative AI models.
- Strong background in distributed computing systems and cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
