Responsibilities
- Monitor network traffic and system health using monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios) to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex network connectivity issues, hardware failures, and software conflicts.
- Configure and manage firewalls, routers, switches, and VPNs to maintain security integrity.
- Perform routine network audits and update documentation for all system configurations.
- Collaborate with the Day Shift team to hand over critical incidents and ensure seamless service continuity.
- Respond to critical alerts and escalations within defined SLA timeframes.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in network engineering or system administration.
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent professional certification preferred.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, subnetting, routing, and switching protocols.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation required.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during the night shift.
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
