Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain server infrastructure during off-peak hours to ensure maximum uptime and stability.
- Execute automated backups and security patches to prevent system vulnerabilities and data loss.
- Troubleshoot complex network connectivity issues and resolve technical tickets efficiently.
- Collaborate with the day-shift engineering team via remote communication channels to coordinate tasks.
- Conduct regular hardware inspections, system health checks, and log maintenance activities.
- Respond to critical alerts and perform emergency repairs during the night shift.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support, network administration, or systems engineering.
- Strong proficiency in TCP/IP, DNS, routing protocols, and firewall configuration.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Experience with Linux or Windows Server environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in high-pressure situations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
