Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends, emerging technologies, and socio-economic indicators to map future scenarios for 2026+ horizons
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive futures intelligence framework using horizon scanning, Delphi methods, and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype next-generation solutions addressing anticipated market needs
- Present strategic foresight findings to executive stakeholders through compelling narratives and data-driven visualizations
- Build and cultivate a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Translate foresight insights into actionable product roadmaps and go-to-market strategies
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations on future-focused topics
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, Strategic Foresight, or equivalent field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years of experience in innovation strategy, technology R&D, or futures research with Fortune 500 companies
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and strategic foresight methodologies
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI, neurotech, and climate tech
- Exceptional ability to synthesize complex information into actionable strategic narratives
- Track record of successfully implementing future-focused initiatives with measurable business impact
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., from Association of Professional Futurists) strongly preferred
- Prior experience publishing in peer-reviewed futures journals or major industry publications
